Adele Begins Writing New Record, Set to Release in 2019
“She’s already penned some of the songs.”
Adele has reportedly begun work on her next record, the first release since 2015’s ’25’.
The global megastar, 30, reportedly met with music bosses earlier this month and plans to spend this summer writing the record.
According to The Sun, she’s working towards a planned release date of Christmas 2019.
A source told the paper: “She’s back in the UK and intends to write here. A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs.”
The new update marks one of the first major developments for Adele since vocal chord damage forced her to cancel two Wembley Stadium shows in 2017.
According to a music insider speaking to The Sun, Adele’s fourth album is expected to drop around Christmas time in 2019.
