The UFC has just signed Alex Pereira to its roster in order to add some new competition for the middle weight division that current defending champ, Israel Adesanya dominants over. Before they were both signed to the UFC, they competed against each other in K1 Kickboxing. Alex Pereira is the only fighter to have ever knocked out Israel and is the only loss Adesanya has ever suffered in his career, as a middleweight.
