19yr old U.K. singer-songwriter Mahalia who rose to fame on Instagram discusses how she rose to fame so quickly. At just 13ys old, her manager managed to arrange a chance meeting for her with Ed Sheeran before one of his shows. The two spent some time jamming together before the show. That jam session leads to Ed Sheeran posting a tweet about her “amazing talent” to his 35 million followers. Two months later, she was signed to Atlantic Records.
