Rate the music. Hot or not?

It’s not even one week into the new year and it seems as if Lizzo has released the first great song of 2019. The singer-rapper-flutist specializes in energetic self-empowerment anthems and “Juice” may be her best yet, a retro-funk treasure that would have easily lit up any mirror-balled dance floor in the early ’80s.

Over a smooth throwback groove, Lizzo praises the woman in the mirror, “If I’m shiny, everybody gonna shine (Yeah, I’m goals)/I was born like this, don’t even gotta try/ (Now you know)/ I like Chardonnay, get better over time (So you know)/Heard you say I’m not the baddest/bitch, you lie,” 

In the clip, Lizzo stars in an ’80s-style workout program, goes on a late-night talk show, sells products on an infomercial, and more. Lizzo’s delivery is witty and full of confidence and positivity. You believe her because she believes it.
