New Music: Robert Randolph & The Family Band, “Simple Man”
Robert Randolph & The Family Band released new music with their single “Simple Man,” from their forthcoming new album, Brighter Days due out on August 23.
Randolph talks about recording the song with The Staples Singers stating: “This song was great to record in this funky, groovy way with the band! Pop Staples and The Staples Singers have always been a big influence on me. They come from a church background and have written so many inspirational songs that have become anthems in every household, which helped the world grow in so many ways!”
This is one of Randolph’s best new singles to date. It will have you stomping your foot in perfect 4/4 time and nodding your head in agreement with the simple truths Randolph sings about on “Simple Man.”
