Highly Anticipated: Reignwolf Releases New Single, “Red and Black” Ahead of Debut Album

Jordan Cook, the gritty, one-man grunge blues band formed Reignwolf in 2012, dropped a new song, “Red and Black” ahead of his highly anticipated debut album due out March 1.

Occasionally performing as a solo project or with his now two-piece backing band, Reignwolf took the rock world by storm in 2013 with his first single, “Are You Satisfied” that quickly catapulted him onto major festival stages like Lollapalooza and sharing it with rock legends like The Pixies and Black Sabbath.

He’s generated more intrigue than any other new artist on the alt-rock scene in recent years mainly because he’s been able to generate massive interest without having a full album out and with barely any singles in his catalog. He took the rock world by storm in 2013 by playing major festivals like Lollapalooza and sharing the stage with legendary names like The Pixies and Black Sabbath. Carried on the strength of his explosive live performances, what few singles he has out have resonated with music fans so much that it’s carried him through almost a decade into his career without ever even releasing a debut album.

In seven years, Reignwolf has only released six singles and has somehow remained the darling of the alt-rock and festival world.  With so little music available, his fans have happily consumed his crumbs while waiting for the full meal of a full album to digest. Well, that meal is about to come.  Cook is doing something he’s never done before: releasing a full-length album.

Due out March 1st. Reignwolf’s debut album is titled Hear Me Out.

Now, Reignwolf is feeding that hunger with the lead single off Hear Me Out, “Black and Red”. The track swings between steamy swagger and driving blues thrash- a fitting way to celebrate Reignwolf’s first-ever album.
