The reggae-infused folk-rock band Satsang and yoga teacher/singer-songwriter, Jonah Kest dropped a new single titled “Sacred Place.” Inspired by the practice of Yoga, the record brings spirituality, movement, and soul together that paints an optimistic and hopeful picture of the long journey to building a personal relationship with God that leads to peace and happiness.

The opening verse of the track brings a grace of retro pop and string instruments fused together to connect meaningful lyrics with the passion in Satsung’s frontman Drew McManus’s voice. From the first note, you can sense the power of storytelling that the album will bring to its listeners.

Satsang’s soulful-rock vibes brought their previous work to #1 on the Billboard’s Reggae Chart and have allowed them to sell out concerts around the country, sharing stages with artists like Michael Franti & Spearhead, Nahko, and Medicine for the People as they worked their way up from bars and clubs to massive festivals. You can check out their website for a complete list of tour dates here.

In a world full of hypebeasts and culture vultures, Satsung is that breath of fresh air and wholesomeness that we all deserve and need right now.
